SPARTAN TEAM INFORMATION

1 Male and 1 Ladies Spartan team will be created from the two teams.

A student will be chosen for the Spartan team based on the following requirements:

    -Grade Eligibility

    -Leadership in the classroom

   -As well as their athletic ability

A person may lose their spot on the Spartan team if they are suspended from school, receive ISS or multiple detentions, or their grades fall below at 70%.

 Practices: 

Pevensies: Mon & Wed 4:30 - 5:30 

Baggins: Tues & Thurs 4:30 - 5:30 

Oakenshield 1 : Tues & Thurs 4:30 - 5:30

Friday Clinic Schedule:
Coach Orozco will be hosting soccer clinics to continue to practice the fundamentals of the sport with ALL teams on Fridays. Every Wednesday, an email will be sent to all families with a link to register your athlete for that Friday's clinic. This must be done weekly, so we can be prepared.

Tournament - Seeding is determined by amount of wins. If a team is tied, the tie breaker defaults to amount of total goals scored.

Winter Intramurals

 Winter Intramurals are Upon Us!

We will be offering two different sports for this upcoming season.

7/8 Grade: Boys Basketball and Girls Basketball

5/6 Grade: Co-Ed Soccer

Practice Schedule:

• Each team will practice 2 days a week from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. 
• Soccer will have a skills clinic on Fridays from 4:30 - 5:30 or from 2:30 - 3:30 if an Early Release day.
• Basketball will have Strength & Conditioning from 4:30 - 5:30 on Fridays or from 2:30 - 3:30 if an Early Release day.

Detailed game and practice schedule will be provided after sign ups close.

Game Schedule

Games will take place on Saturdays, starting December 11th. There may be some games on weekdays from time to time. 

Requirements:

-Students must be passing all classes at a 70% or above.
-Students can be considered ineligible due to frequent behavior referrals or detentions.
-Students must have a physical from a doctor on file clearing them for participation in activity.
